Access, power and making good.
The disruption depends on the job. A rewire can require access below floors and within walls; smaller alterations may be more contained. Power may need to be isolated while work and testing take place. Discuss occupied rooms, access, decorating and any making-good work before agreeing the scope.

A quote based on the work.
The number of rooms and circuits, the condition of existing wiring, access behind walls or floors, your choice of fittings and the extent of testing or remedial work can all affect the cost. A clear description of the property helps us understand what needs assessing.

Can you help with a small job?
Yes. Lighting, sockets and other domestic alterations are part of our work, alongside rewires and renovations. Tell us what needs changing.
Can I stay at home during a rewire?
This depends on the scope, access and whether essential circuits can remain available. Discuss occupancy and any practical constraints when we assess the work.
Will decorating be included?
Do not assume that plastering or decorating is included. Ask for access requirements and any making-good work to be set out when agreeing the scope.
Can you inspect an existing installation?
Yes. Electrical inspection, condition reports and fault finding are available. Explain any concerns and the reason you need the inspection.
